Employment Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced business journalist to take us to the next level in audience engagement.

To be successful in this role, you must be knowledgeable about and excited by the growth potential offered through development of Atlantic Canada’s business community.

This position is a one-year contract. For the right applicant, this may lead to a full-time permanent position.

About us
Founded in 1989, Atlantic Business Magazine is Atlantic Canada’s business magazine. Published six times a year, we deliver 37,000 magazines to readers throughout the region, across the country and around the world.

Our mission
We are committed to producing informative, authoritative and entertaining content that shares Atlantic Canada’s business stories with a global audience. Though we are dedicated to factual accuracy, we do not believe that business news should be a dry recitation of numbers and statistics. It can, and should, capture audience attention in the best storytelling tradition. For our audience and our advertisers, our goal is to be the foremost source of reliable and memorable business information in the region.

What you need to know about us
We’re a small, tight-knit team. And we’re ambitious. We believe (actually, we know) that Atlantic Canada has world-class potential—and that our coverage of regional enterprise deserves world-class content. Our standards are high; we want you to help us fly.
