Nominate a CEO

Changes to Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEO awards

Our corporate leadership excellence recognition program is evolving.

As the nature of business changes, so too does the meaning of what it is to be CEO. We are revising the Top 50 program to incorporate categories that allow for deeper insights into the unique challenges faced by CEOs from different types of organizations.

Our six NEW award categories are:

  • Privately-owned/publicly-traded companies with 250+ employees
  • Privately-owned/publicly-traded companies with 51-250 employees
  • Privately-owned/publicly-traded companies with 1-50 employees
  • Non-profit/not-for-profit organizations and industry associations
  • Crown corporations and post-secondary institutions
  • Startups (commercial-stage companies that have been in business from two to five years)

What hasn’t changed: the nomination process. All you need is the name of a nominee plus their email, phone number and a sentence or two identifying why you think they are worthy of Top 50 CEO recognition. (We find out everything else we need to know when we do our follow-up).

Nominations close: December 10, 2019
